The Tale of Despereaux (film)

I watched it but I'm not impressed. The book is SOOOO much BETTER!!!
Read The Tale of Despereaux (film) plot here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Tale_of_Despereaux_(film)

Read The Tale of Despereaux (book) plot here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Tale_Of_Despereaux

But if you haven't read the book, you might enjoy the movie. BTW, the movie is an animation.
But on the bright side, Despereaux is a super cute mouse!!
I'm a sucker for cute little mice!!!
DD, please do NOT quote me for the "I'm a sucker..." part in the sentence before this one.
So, watch the movie for you have at least wasted an hour or something of your life but enjoyed a nice movie!!!!!

Sorry.../The colds, coughs, and SNEEZES!!

Sorry but with the holidays and homework, I won't be able to post a lot of things.
I've got the cold so I've been coughing and sneezing!
Staying in bed is a good idea..
I also have to get up early to walk my cousin's dog and at night too.
But I better stop procrastinating and finish my homework so I can enjoy the rest of Winter Break!!

Weekly stuff of 12/7/08-12/13/08

Here's the weekly stuff of 12/7/08-12/13/08. Sorry it took so long, I got held back from blogging to work on my Science Fair Project. I hope I get a GREAT, not good, GREAT grade.
If you want to see last week's weekly stuff, look for "Weekly stuff of 11/30/08-12/6/08" in the blog archive to the left or scroll down.

This week's Picture of the Week is:
Wee? Qui-qui!
I forgot what kind of pun it is. It's a mix between "Wee?" as in a fun saying when you are swinging, and a French "Qui-qui" as in yes-yes.

This week's Miscellaneous Text of the Week is:
Isn't it a bit unnerving that doctors call what they do "practice"?

This week's Music of Video of the Week is:
"Wine Red"--by The Hush Sound: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1r6MFfMEziE
I picked this song because it's a little dark, random, emo, mysterious, doesn't make sense, but also, AWESOME. Watch the music video too.

This week's Featured Site is:
Escapa!: http://members.iinet.net.au/~pontipak/redsquare.html
Well, it's not exactly a site. It's more of a very addicting game. My highest was 26.024. Ha! Beat that, DD!

This week's Joke of the Week is:
An old man lived alone in Idaho. He wanted to spade his potato garden, but it was very hard work. His only son, Bubba, who used to help him, was in prison. The old man wrote a letter to his son and described his predicament.

Dear Bubba:
I am feeling pretty bad because it looks like I won't be able to plant my potato garden this year. I'm just getting too old to be digging up a garden plot. If you were here, all my troubles would be over. I know you would dig the plot for me.
Love, Dad
A few days later, he received a letter from his son.

Dear Dad:
For heaven's sake, Dad, don't dig up that garden. That's where I buried the BODIES.
Love, Bubba

At 4 a.m. the next morning, FBI agents and local Police showed up and dug up the entire area without finding any bodies. They apologized to the old man and left.
That same day, the old man received another letter from his son.

Dear Dad:
Go ahead and plant the potatoes now. It's the best I could do under the circumstances.
Love, Bubba

Hahaha!! Smart son...
That's all. You can also check out my graphics on the left but please, YOU CAN NOT STEAL THEM!!!!!!!!! THEY ARE MINE!!!!! Thank you.
If you have any comments, questions, or suggestions, you can tell me down below by clicking on "Sparks".

Front Row First Violins

Snotty (Oops. I mean Snobby) Front Row First Violins, no offense to other people.
First of all, STOP THINKING YOU'RE ALL THAT!!!!! Because you are NOT!
Second of all, not everyone in music class knows who you are even though you think they do!!! Never mind, they DO because your a music TEACHER'S PET!
(Sorry for all the exclamation points)
Third of all, stop showing off!!! We already know you're good and take private lessons so stop fingering vibrato while your listening to the music teacher OR fingering and shadowing a scale really fast!!
No one cares or is watching because they are listening to the music teacher!!!
Last of all, stop scoffing (scoffing: an expression of mockery, derision, doubt, or derisive scorn; jeer.) every time your partner messes up because they're not as good as you!!

So please, if you are this type of person, stop doing what I've listed above. People might actually like you if they hate you.

TFR!

This week's Picture of the Week is:
Small, smiling banana square-slice: Hi.

This week's Miscellaneous Text of the Week is:
When someone says "You know what they say..." Who are they?

This week's Music or Video of the Week:
"Mario Kart Love Song"--- by user blinktwice4y: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VDBpQVhCMb8
It's a catchy song, very creative, and makes sense to Mario Kart players!

This
week's Featured Site is Addicting Games: http://www.addictinggames.com/index.html
Like its name, it has a lot of ADDICTING games. Try Lemon Smash: http://www.addictinggames.com/lemonsmash.html

This week's Joke of the Week is:
Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson went on a camping trip. After a good meal and a bottle of wine, they lay down for the night and went to sleep.
Some hours later, Holmes awoke and nudged his faithful friend.
"Watson, look up and tell me what you see."
Watson replied, "I see millions and millions of stars."
"What does that tell you?"
Watson pondered for a minute. "Astronomically, it tells me that there are millions of galaxies and potentially billions of planets. Astrologically, I observe that Saturn is in Leo. Horologically, I deduce that the time is approximately a quarter past three. Theologically, I can see that God is all powerful and that we are small and insignificant. Meteorologically, I suspect that we will have a beautiful day tomorrow. Why, what does it tell YOU?"
Holmes was silent for a minute, then spoke.
"Watson, you idiot. Somebody has stolen our tent."

Get it? Haha. Va-AAAAir-reeee funny!

That's all until next week! TFR!

Thanksgiving Review/Twilight/Fun with DD

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Pretty crazy Black Friday, right?
Today is the first day of December! Another month for Advent Calendar--Neopet users.
I can't wait for Christmas and New Year!
Does anyone know a recipe for Gulliver's corn or something corn? The creamy one?
Twilight was awesome except for the characters' faces which were pale. Pale as in weird dead pale.
The new season of the detective show Monk is coming in January---I can't wait!
I also had a "fun" time with you and your peeps, DD, after Twilight.
Though, I still feel a little weird after petting the dogs at the pet store and then eating one of the pretzels your mom bought. I do not like eating pretzels with the same hand I used to pet the puppies!
Sorry this post is short so I hope you enjoy this picture that will take up the page:
